Lodge Yard is a listed 18th Century stable yard in the middle of the village, its once derelict buildings now reconstructed to combine their original charm with contemporary utility.
In all there are 29 one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments and cottages, each of which is furnished and equipped to the usual Bond standard to include TV and DVD players.
The adjacent Kings Arms, which featured in the James Herriot stories as 'The Drovers', dates back to 1760 and provides a further 11 en-suite bedrooms with television and DVD players. Breakfast is available in ‘Pratts’ restaurant and resident Bondholders also have use of the recreation facilities at Lodge Yard.
